Volunteer Testimonials
Valerie (Social Work Student)
Undertaking my Social Work Placement at International Social Service (ISS) Australia was a life-changing and rewarding experience. I had the privilege of working with a number of clients to assist them in finding and reconnecting with their birth families. I was constantly supported by an amazing and dedicated team of social workers, who were just as passionate about the work as I was. Working with the team at ISS Australia has taught me a lot about myself, both personally and professionally. It has enhanced my passion for social work and has given me a new perspective on the kind of social worker I aspire to be one day.
